Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit it, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser and operating system details) to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Anonymous visitor statistics
To see which content gets read, this website uses Vercel Web Analytics (provider: Vercel Inc., see above). No cookies are set and no user profiles are created. Among other things, the page visited, the referring page, the country, and the browser, operating system and device type are recorded. Visits are told apart by a hash that is derived from the request and discarded after 24 hours, so they cannot be traced back to a person. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in improving this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Ratings from the Microsoft Store
Ratings for Watchbird, DeskScene and Tern Files are fetched from the Microsoft Store on the server and cached. For this, your browser only connects to this website, not to Microsoft.
Contact by email
When you write to me, I process your details (e.g. name, email address, content of the message) to answer your inquiry and, where applicable, to prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Links to product websites
This website links to the websites of my products (including watchbird.app, deskscene.app, toolorio.com, ternfiles.com and plmgraph.com). Their own privacy policies apply there.
