I'm Thomas Ulrich, and I build software under the name UT-Systems — from the first sketch to a product you can buy.
Interface, code, release, pricing and support are all in my hands. That forces clear decisions — and software that works without a manual.
I care about tools you use every day and barely notice: a window layout that is simply back. A data model you can finally see. An approval you give without switching windows.
How I work

Watchbird talks to the agents over a local pipe. Toolorio and PLMGraph process files right in the browser — no upload.

Tern Files, Watchbird and DeskScene cost once, not every month. A tool is something you should be able to own.

Before Watchbird changes a configuration, it makes a backup — and removes its entries with one click whenever you want.

My products come entirely from one pair of hands: concept, design, development, release and support. I work the same way for companies — on internal tools that are missing from day-to-day work, or on products that are meant for the market.
Tray apps, global hotkeys, multi-monitor setups, window management and integrations with existing tools — including packaging, licensing with a trial period and publishing on the Microsoft Store.
Fast web applications that process files right in the browser. No server ever sees the data — which makes data protection and internal sign-off much simpler.
Making complex structures visible: turning exports and files into interactive graphs, comparisons and audit reports — right in the browser, without the data ever leaving the building.
Bringing coding agents like Claude Code or Codex into a team so that speed does not come at the cost of control: approval workflows, hooks, guidelines and the right tools for everyday work.

Watchbird adds a small notch to the top edge of the screen. It shows what Claude Code, Codex, Copilot CLI and seven other agents are doing right now — and lets you approve their changes, answer their questions and review plans without switching windows.
